Medical coatings are characterised by the need for high performing seamless finishes that are easily sterilised whilst providing an attractive and 'warm to touch' finish.

We have a range of coatings available that are ideally suited to the medical industry including PPA 571 ES, Talisman, Nylon and Modified Polyester powders.

One of the key characteristics of the coatings mentioned here is that they are all available in an antimicrobial or anti-bacterial grade.

These antimicrobial coatings are biostatic and work by preventing the spread or growth of microorganisms. Talisman 30 contains an antimicrobial additive that will reduce levels of MRSA bacteria by 99.99%.

In addition to being anti-bacterial, most of the coatings benefit from having excellent adhesion, excellent scuff and abrasion resistance and have low smoke, fume and toxicity in the event of a fire.
