Large Parts Coating Facility
Plastic Coatings Ltd have recently commissioned a new coating plant designed to handle large and heavy components. We have long held a desire to have the ability to handle larger components and support our customers when these projects arise.
This expansion of our already wide range of capabilities will help secure our position as a market leader in sub-contract coating operations.
Work started this week on stripping out one of our old coating units that had been used as warehouse space following significant investment in High Performance Coatings.
This will make way for a new 6m x 4m x 4m box oven with 1 wet spray paint booth and a new powder coating application facility to suit. We will also have a smaller refurbished box oven and a flat bed conveyor oven. The new facility offers an excellent level of flexibility in terms of coating large components whether these are one-offs, small batches or full scale production items.
These new items of plant will compliment our already extensive pre-treatment capabilities and our wide range of management system approvals.
