Replacing our manual Powder Coating Line
Plastic Coatings Ltd have been applying Electrostatic Powder Coatings onto customer product for nearly 50 years, which is about as long as the technology has been commercialised! In that time we have had several powder coating plants, all with their own unique benefits. Our oldest powder coating plant has been with us for most of that time and despite being well looked after it is time to replace it with a more energy efficient and environmentally friendly plant.
Over the last 15 years we have invested heavily in our plant, facilities, equipment and people to make us the very best sub contract coater that we can be.
At the end of May this year, the old plant will be decomissioned, the factory unit will be refurbished and a brand new coating facility will be installed in place of the old plant. Making this plant one of 4 state of the art powder coating lines at PCL, all of which have been renewed in the last 15 years.
The last 12 months have been uncertain, but we are certain of one thing; when the economy gets going again Plastic Coatings Ltd will be here stronger than ever, ready to support our customers with all of their coating requirements.
